Karen Jenson

Karen brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of the arts and finance industries. Through her education and professional journey, she has observed the dynamic interplay between these two worlds—seemingly opposing yet deeply reflective of one another. Specializing in the “financialization” of art, she is an expert in navigating the evolving relationship between cultural and economic value.

Her fascination with this duality began at Northwestern University, where she studied both contemporary and ancient art. She has since held roles in both public and private art institutions, including the Carnegie Art Center and the AKG in Buffalo, NY, the Lehman Maupin Gallery in New York City, and Groundswell Mural Arts in Brooklyn. After earning her MBA, she transitioned into corporate finance, working with commercial banks in New York City to support family businesses in achieving sustainable growth.

Whether leading an arts nonprofit to financial sustainability, demystifying art as a compelling alternative asset, or facilitating capital growth and private equity opportunities for family-run enterprises, Karen is committed to service-driven leadership. Her expertise lies in bridging creativity and commerce, empowering her clients with strategic financial insights while preserving artistic integrity.
